Lovely relatively quiet place for a coffee and a quick meal and/or pastry. The almond croissant was nice and fresh, cappuccino was good size and the price was very reasonable for central London. Would definitely come back.

Great place for a quick coffee lunch. Easy to find, tables are available inside and outside. Food choice is great, coffee quality is nice and staff is friendly. You can pay with card of course. Laptops and tablets are not that welcomed there, what keeps atmosphere a bit more cozy. Prices are reasonable, and you get great quality food here. Absolutely recommended Will visit again for sure.

Located on the bustling Marylebone High Street, Epicerie Cafe & Grocery offers a refreshing retreat for those seeking quality food and a calm atmosphere in central London. This charming café strikes a fine balance between casual dining and a neighborhood gem, making it ideal for a quick coffee break, a light lunch, or a sweet treat.

What stands out most at Epicerie is the attention to detail in both their menu and environment. The almond croissant, praised for its freshness and perfect texture, pairs beautifully with a well-sized cappuccino that feels generous for this part of town. The café has cultivated an inviting atmosphere with friendly staff and a quiet street-side setting that encourages relaxation over rushed visits.

The food menu is thoughtfully curated, showcasing a great range of sandwiches, vibrant salads, and an appealing selection of pastries and sweet treats. Each dish is prepared with care, offering a fresh and balanced flavor profile that doesn’t compromise on quality. It’s evident the kitchen values freshness and simplicity, which adds to the overall charm and authenticity of the experience.

One subtle but notable characteristic of Epicerie is its policy around digital devices, favoring a cozy and conversation-friendly environment over the typical laptop crowd. This choice enhances the café’s intimate vibe, inviting guests to truly slow down and enjoy their meal. Whether you choose to sit inside or outside, the setting feels thoughtful and comfortable.

Adding to the appeal, the café also offers a selection of cocktails, with a nod to classic British favorites like Pimm’s. While a minor point was raised about the ice quantity in the cocktails, this does little to diminish the overall quality and care put into the beverages here.

Reasonably priced for a central London locale, Epicerie Cafe & Grocery delivers on both quality and atmosphere. It’s a place that understands the importance of good coffee, fresh food, and a welcoming space—a true find for locals and visitors alike. From the vibrant salads and hearty sandwiches to the lovingly crafted pastries and friendly service, every visit promises a pleasant, satisfying experience. This café is undoubtedly worth returning to, whether for a quick lunch, a leisurely coffee, or a quiet moment away from the city’s rush.
